Drew Hirshfeld, Former USPTO Commissioner of Patents, will share his thoughts on the current state of the US patent system and the USPTO. His topics will include recent events that may impact the USPTO, including the Biden administration’s Executive Order on the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, Drew will discuss best practices for working with patent examiners, day-to-day USPTO procedures, insights into the USPTO, and his current work as an expert witness in a fireside chat.
